TERMS:

Rates - for up to 6 passengers maximum are $480- for a 6 hour trip, $580- for an 8 hour trip. Bait is extra and the prices here are subject to change, please confirm price when booking your charter.

Bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of the required $100 per day deposit. The $100- deposit check should be made out to Captain Mike Shaffner then mailed to: Proud Mary Charters, 1800 Wilson Road, Huntingtown, Maryland 20639. (prices are subject to change if fuel prices go up)

Fishing Schedule
A brief summary of the fishing season which runs from April through November.

April - May
Trolling Mid-Bay area for Trophy Rockfish and Bluefish

June - July
Bluefish and Rockfish (in season), night fishing for Hardhead (Croaker), also Trout, Spot and Flounder

August - October *Best time of the year
Spot, Flounder, Trout, Hardhead (Croaker), Trophy Rockfish and Bluefish

October - November
Light tackle fishing and trolling for Rockfish-Small Trout and Perch.

The 2008 trophy Rockfish fishing season on the Chesapeake Bay officially begins in late April.
